Personal Testimony
Those who know me might say that I am trustworthy, sincere, optimistic, and full of the Spirit. But I haven’t always been this way. In fact, during some of my darkest years, I was precisely the opposite of some of these things.
My life changed during the summer of 1997. This is when I re-committed my life to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I surrendered my will and my desires to Him. I had always “confessed” Jesus, but this is when I gave Him complete control. My life, since that time, has never the same. I became a new creation. The old things passed away, and God began to instill new, godly things into my life. This process continues today, but now I am a child of God and I seek to be in His will at all times.
It brings me great joy to be in His presence, and in the presence of my dear family and friends. In fact, for many of you who read this, my dear brothers and sisters, please know that I love you deeply and you bring joy to my heart.
My purpose of including this personal testimony is simple. If you do not already have the joy, peace and salvation that I have found, then I want you to know that you can have it – for your sake, not mine. I don’t have anything to “sell”. I am merely a weary pilgrim who has found some great treasure and I have been instructed to share it.
Here’s a link to some “basics” on what it means to be a Christian. I have found in my life that relationships are what means the most. So, if you are reading this chances are you know me already… certainly well enough to reach out to me. I am always open and willing to have discussions, anytime…
May the Grace and Peace of our Lord and Savior be with you now and forever.
